How? and is there any possibilty of using local roads (i.e. when zipping arround town especially during rush hour i take local roads)

I had a programmed route from my house to my work and by default it used the main highway. I then told VOICE to use the shortest route and to my surprise it re-routed me and told me to use the exact backroads that I normally take to work. VOICE ROCKS!

Ahh. It appears that i don't have all of the functionality becasue i don't have my Mic Setup... I will have to work on that. In the next version when there will be a button and a skin for most options i will probably see a lot more than what i have regularly used.

I still think that a "local" and "major" settings would be useful. Definatly not top priority though.

I'm happy with everything except one thing, the OSK I think it would be great to be able to open it and close it via a button in the app, being that right now with beta 2 if I launch VOICES from mediacar, the OSK comes up, I only use a touchscreen so theres no way to close it (easily)... Now it would be even better if I could use the OSK inside of voices (but I already posted that one in the bugs)

The OSK has a Hide button. This cause the OSK keyboad to be hidden again.

The OSK opens on the start of VOICES. HOwever, it would be good if the OSK would also close on the stopping of VOICES.

the next version might contain comands to avoid or chose if possible the following route (still working on it)
motorways/limit access
Major Roads
Minor Roads
Toll
Ferry

@skippy the next version will have an ini entry that allows the user to either keep the OSK on or close it when the app exits

How about keyboard shortcuts for those of us using a laptop?(I'm assuming I'm not the only one) Also maybe the ability to add a custom button to launch an external application as I am using a bluetooth headset with it and I want to make a simple VB program that would start the bluetooth connection. I currently have to use an icon on the taskbar to do so and the latest beta doesnt show me the taskbar when I press the windows button on my keyboard, it only shows the start menu. The last version didn't seem to hide the taskbar which I found very useful. Also it doesnt show the taskbar even if I set the resolution to be smaller then full screen vertically to allow room for it.

Will add the keyboard shorcuts. They will be very useful . Launching External app is an option for VOICES media App which I am working on but till then an option can be given to run the external app from VOICES and also start it with a voice command.
Have added it to my todo list. Will keep you informed

wow that was a fast response. I can't use a voice command to start the app as I need to start it to use the voice commands what a conundrum =) can't wait for the next release thanx a lot SA.
