Regarding external GPS app , Oliver does have a point there.
VOICES (NAV module) will always be MapPoint dependant but VOICES (Media App) will have option for the user to use external GPS application.

BTW The next version of VOICES Media will have
    1) XM Radio (optional) (Might try using Frodo's control. Once I get his permission)
    2) Video (embedded WMP)
    3) External App (Front screen & sep Launch Dialog )

    Regards

Hi, I know you are working on much right now but I can always request!

I like your program but there is one thing that is really annoying and itīs Microsoft SAM. Couldnīt it be so that whenever thereīs a text saying "Turn left" then you could play a wav or something saying turn left and get rid of SAM at all.

I'm not keen on the sythenthesis either, but it's worth it compared to WAVs when the road has been changed slightly and the '3rd exit' is now the '4th exit'; as you're still OK because it tells you what's written on the sign i.e. 'Take 3rd Exit on M6 South Birmingham/Stoke on trent'

However if SA wants to do a WAV option with road numbers etc etc I don't mind recording the many WAVs; I have a great voiceover tone

@weekendowel Sorry. It don't think I will be using the WAV file as there are a lot of Text-To-Speech functionality. Have you tried Natural voices from AT&T ?

Permission granted to you and all developers. If anyone can help me
improve it I would appreciate it.

Would each of us have to buy a separate copy?

Yes they are Voice Fonts. Each user needs to buy one and is compatible with MS SAPI 5.1 but they sound much better when used with the SDK provided by them. I will look at the API as soon as I finish the basic functionality of VOICES .

Is there also which other one than English Voices?

    Apropo announcement:
Does one know the fastidious distance announcements "normaly"?
Instead of: Into 283.9 meters right... Into 283 meters right...
