    MapPoint installed and stand-alone-runing ok?
The right MapPoint Version in the Voices.ini?
What is this for a skin? The right size?

    If it was to me.

Everything are working standalone, if i just starts the voices.exe then it works great. and if i just use my mappoint as embedded program in mediaengine then it are working allright.

BUT when i am using he voices.exe as embedded program, then it just get ****ed up.

Voices will operate within Media engine if you do the following.

Note: If you come out of standby...you will have to restart Voices to get Voice command & mapping to work *correctly*

Note 2: you will need a Voices shortcut on your desktop

    1. Launch Media Engine
    2. Launch Voices from the APP menu
    3. Click ok on all error messages. You should now see your desktop.
    4. Double Click Voices Shortcut
    5. Click OK to any error messages.
    6. You should now be able to use voices within media engine concurrently.

I have had no problems with this work around thus far. Allows the two to work together for both GPS directions as well as controlling media engine mp3s.

chill out man, voices is intended to be a standalone app and is not designed to run *with* media Engine. In the next release you *should* see a more versitile Voices application which should contain the functionality you currently use media engine for.

Voices is also not designed to run *with* MediaCar ... it will be work, but it must not work ...
Possibly the error is also because of ME or MC ??

    @clemen

I cant read this post and let it slide.

You are a NEWB and should be schooled properly.

Those comments are not welcome here. Please take them to the "I am an ungrateful complainer forum". SilentAdmirer and Skippy are providing a service to us and this program is in Beta form... Thats right BETA. Beta means it has bugs and not completed or in testing. The onlything that is half assed is your post. Also it is FREE. So what makes you think you can even start to complain over software that you paid no money for. Get a clue!

Also what good does that post do? You didn't give any constructive criticism. At least you could have made a suggestion, but no...you just felt the need to vent. Well DO IT ELSEWHERE

I'm afraid I can't take much credit, SlientAdmirer is the main man! He is who we have to thank for such a great app and being developed with great speed! Those who wish to provide SlientAdmirer with the motivation and support he deserves are more than welcome to use the software and post constructive critisism and comments. Those who don't care to much for VOICES and don't appreciate the effort that people are putting in are clearly not welcome in this community.

Just as an FYI, this app started to be developed on 28 March 2004. It's now 14th May 2004 and in the next day or so the full version of the App will be released with A LOT of functionality! Again, SilentAdmirer is the main man!
