If you put the diode, a 22,000uF cap, and the board into a pkg for $10, I'd buy one.
Although it looks like I might be buying my own since I need it ASAP.
Ditto with GingerPrince's circuit, which regulates a 12v output, although that would cost a bit more ($20 maybe).
