As for the DSATX: I modified the brain stem so that it could be perminately mounted on the outside of the case and connected to the PSU so that I could see real time specs on the PSU:
After pulling the wires out of their sockets on a 4 pin wire, I soldered the pins from the brain stem to the wire:
The cables with the pins in place and the other side without the pins in place.
And with the pins soldered back to the brain stem and heat shrink over it all. Each individual pin is wrapped in electrical tape to ensure no shorting.
