I wired it up using an old Radio Shack power adapter (just cut the cable) and installed the appropriate adapter tip. I put a fuse inline, and tied into the power distro block for my audio system.
OT: I had a problem with some program looking for Internet Explorer. Turns out its nagware in SqrSoft's crossfader program. I don't have IE installed (running Win 98Lite), so it would cause the music to stop. Without a monitor, I couldn't see what was going on, and without a full keyboard, could not hit the esc key. By setting Winamp to Always on Top, it kept SqrSoft from stopping the music.
I purchased the Radio Shack 60 watt universal adapter and hooked it up to my Casetronic 2699/Epia M9000 with the correct tip polarity.
The adapter fuse blew out .....I can't figure out what went wrong. Unless the polarity sticker on the Casetronic case is wrong, I haven't tried it again.
How did you get it to work and what is your exact setup and components?
