Personally I just see not reason to put Vista in the car yet. 95% of Vista is based on how the UI runs and operates. I never use "Windows" in the car, as RR is always on the front of the screen. I also can not justify anoother $200 and up for an OS to replace one on the CarPC already, that I will really never "see" to begin with.
I guess the only real advantage I see of Vista as far as RR goes, is the ability to set volume levels for individual programs. That said, running XP, my FM Radio, XM Satellite radio, iGuidance and Winamp all currently have their own individual volume settings as it is.
Will I be running this on my desktop soon, Yes, in the car, I just do not see the need for it personally. Time and time again, with test on Tom's Hardware, PC Mag and so many other places show that XP is still minutely faster than Vista (Even when not running the Arrow interface). It is also a well known fact that Vista does have a bit more of a system requirements than XP, and most of the CarPC's out there just are not well suited for Vista.
