Thanks, actually it does matter, I wasn't sure if that picture was supposed to be of a truck's interior, I understood what she was saying and Its works out nicely in trunk space, however behind the panels of my truck there is

a. no area deep enough for a micro
b. no area not taken up by crumple zones, wires, braces.

Good suggestion, but just not going to work for the truck. My family has owned a body shop for 30 years and I've installed car audio for 10. I'm no stranger to creative solutions, but I'm looking for outside ideas. Thanks guys. At this point I'm starting to think I should just suck it up and get a mini-ITX.....
