Skins to be used are rearchived to ensure folder layout, give a better archive filename, and to ensure maximum compression.

The program will detect the Road Runner skin location, or prompt you for the location. The cool thing is the skins are controlled by a "SkinSet#.ini" file.
Code:
[config] server=http://innovatedaudio.com/W3bMa5t3r/ skin_1=Bongo skin_2=Brushed_Aluminum_Version_2 skin_3=TR-Blue skin_4=Aero_Beta skin_5=Pioneer skin_6=Zots.Day skin_7= skin_8= skin_9= skin_10=

They reflect the skin's archive file names and also how the skin name's are displayed in the program. So if we wish to change the skins installed, you distribute a new "config.ini" file, ensuring the new archives are named and built correctly with proper folder layout, etc.

Running the program, if you try to install a skin that's been removed or is being updated, you will get a prompt telling you it's unavailable. If it's there, it will download it to the script directory, extract the archive and move it to the correct skin location with the correct skin folder name.

As with the Road Runner Installer and Updater, the file "7za.exe" is included for extraction processes. It is safe, it's the 7-Zip command line extractor. Also with the Road Runner Installer and Updater, if you get a Virus Alert, turn OFF advanced heuristic detection. These files are scanned by AVG with the latest updates. (You'll only see the "7za.exe" WHILE the program is running, otherwise it's embedded 'inside' the installer)

The program will give you a progress bar while downloading to let you know it's working, as most skins are 5-25MBs in size and may take a while to download depending on your connection. Once downloaded it will continue with the extraction and installation process. You will be informed if it was successful or not.

If the installation is successful and the skin includes a "readme.txt" or "info.txt" file, it will be displayed for you, to include those in the \readme\ subfolder some skinners create.

THE README INCLUDED

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

[1] Install Anywhere, but preferably in your Road Runner directory,

i.e.

C:\Program Files\Road Runner\RRSkinInstaller\

[2] The SkinSet#.ini file controls everything. Check the thread for the latest server and skins/SkinSet#.ini files
available. The details for this are there.

[3] Run the program, if it detects the location of your RR install, you may proceed to select
and preview the skins and the install the one you choose. If your RR install location is not
detected, it will give you the option to set it. Once done it will continue as mentioned
above.

[4] The program will download and extract the skin you've chosen. Once done you will be
notified and the program will exit. If the skin includes a readme.txt or info.txt, that will
be displayed for you.

[5] Run Road Runner's Config.exe to set the new skin or if your current skin has a skin
browser, you may use it to set the new skin.

That's it... if you have any questions post them in the thread.
