Here is another good question:
Does XLE support TMCpro ? (oh I could also ask this the Destinator guys at the Cebit...)
to the pricing (contains 2 "pieces" ?!):
-Centrafuse itself (~140)
(look at Streetdeck ! Which Frontend offers more functionality ? so I guess CF´s price is okay and doesn't need any discussion)
-Destinator (~200)
at the time of starting (and still now) there is/was no real alternative (price and features) as navigation component. But Destinator component is wrong architectured. Destinators own GUI should use the same COM object as CF. Instead the COM was added later by Destinator after their own prgramm was finished - resulting in lacking features. These lacking features were added by Destinator in request of Fluxmedia. And now Destinator certainly disallows the distribution of these new COM Object in SE and XE versions.
As you look at OpenOffice you might ask yourself why isn't there a good free (open source) navigation program.
The 200$ we now have to pay for
our stoopidness. If you look at the existing frontends which were written until now you can realize how many developer hours were invested there instead of an open source mapping program - all frontends would benefit

.
These guys have own ideas for their cars (like me) but hasn't CF (or Streetdeck) a SDK (
FOR own ideas) ???
You can now search for "new frontend" threads and kick those guys.
