And how many people here will not even bother with PhoCo after all the hastle they had trying to make it work, problems with BT stacks, dongles, and uncooperative phones...

What I think is wrong is that you can't have NAV without having Phone. Why have an ordered upgrade path, why not just make modules and extra cost where you can select the modules you want.
Mosts EU & UK'ers don't have any requirement for XM or Sirrius etc.
People without OBD2 cars have no need for OBD.
Can you see my point? Lots of us will be paying for things we don't need!
I can see your point for PhoCo, but I guess the other options (Sirius, OBD, etc) are just part of the program, while NAV and PhoCo are things that cost money for every sold license...
Maybe 4 versions would help (Without anything, Only PhoCo, Only NAV, PhoCo and NAV), but further splitting up would be overkill imo.
