What are the steps to install the OBDII device in terms of ingition and making a connection?
It takes a few tried for the ELM327 device to connect to my Fiat Punto JTD. Also, I've tried it on my dad's Golf MK4 but it doesn't pick up the ECU. It just says: waiting for connection. Do I need a particular software package?
Any help would be great
