What would that be for? I do have all the LCDs so I can watch them when I am in the car. True, the trunk lid is in a front of me when I am driving my Tatra, but it is still kind of better to drive when you can actually see the road ;-)

This will not work. This adapter will only work with DVI-I outputs, where the analog signal is physically present. The first adapter you refer to (HDMI->DVI) gives you digital-only DVI-D.
