Oh, I agree 100%!

If you want to go balls out, an LS-6 or LS-8 motor dressed up in some powdercoat & chrome finery would be the bees knees in ANY hot rod!!
Street & Performance out of Arkansas makes some sweet motors.
I've seen their work under the hoods of many rods, from Corvettes to Deuces to pickups. They never cease to make me drool.

Really, any EFI motor can be tuned from the carPC.
I have a '54 Chevy pickup that is rusting away. When we move, I fully intend on getting that beast running, and one of the goals is to have a PC setup to tune the motor.
