Try testing that orange wire to see if it has any voltage when the EQ is on and if the signal goes away when the EQ is turned off. If it does, hook up that orange wire to your amps remote wire or terminal and see if that works. If it does work, you should be able to use the power switch on your EQ to turn your whole system on and off. You should try to see if you can hook up your EQ (the red +12 wire) to a switched power source as well so that when you turn off your ignition, the EQ and the amp(s) all shut down as well without having to turn it on and off everytime you get in and out of your car. I don't think your EQ will draw too much power so it should work with a switched power source. Can't help you too much with finding a switched power source except to say by trial and error but some places to start would be your power source for your ciggerette lighter might be switched, try the back of your ignition switch if you can get to it. Also take a look at your fuse box and see if there is a fuse already labled for your radio and tap into that line. Good luck and I hope this solves your problem.
