ok it looks like we have some differences in our registries. ie.

mine "DataPath"="D:\\MSMap\\PFiles\\MSMap\\Data"

So my question is did you install mappoint previsouly or did it come right off the install disc? and why when I look in program files is there no mappoint listed there?

Going to reinstall .net framework and see if theres a diference.
