Updated SD, and now it wont run. (Quits while loading modules etc.)

WinXP, VIA mb w/ built-in cpu, 1GB RAM, 160GB HD, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS.

SD worked fine under a pre. version. Updated and suddently SD refused to run. Have tried to reinstall, but no luck. Have also tried tips/hints given in other threads, but still no luck.
