And if your battery doesn't have enough juice, then yes it could be the problem. Also USB is very picky. If it is a real cheap battery or a battery that is not putting out 9v and closer to 7v or so, then that could be the problem. The board needs a minimum of 7v to function properly. If you battery is going between 9v and 6.9, it wont work.

If you dont have a wall transformer for it, use the +12v line from your computer. (The yellow molex).

well mine is USB2, its running straight into my pc USB2, and i do have another computer i can try it on tomoro,

I connected power thru the 12v on the molex and im still geting the same business, ill try it on one of my other pcs tomoro.
