Update:
Ok, iG4 came FedEx today. As mentioned the coordinates did not work for using GPS Gas. I opened iG4 into reshacker, and was able to add the coordinates back in
With that done, I tested a lot, and can say that the following work perfectly with iG4:
- It embeds natively just as iG3
- Auto screen switching works
- Mute / Pause volume when iG speaks works
- With Coordinates back, the Route to Gas Station now works
As for the Digital FX skin, all of the AutoIt scripts work on all the buttons, except, for the "Nearest Fast Food" as iG4 changes the screens a bit, and added multiple pages to break down the new 6 Million POI's into sub catagories. I will have to fix the code on those buttons.
I have to reshack all the graphics back into it and such, but when complete, I will post a patch.
SO all in all, it's working great, and the new Text To Speech for directions is SOOoooo much nicer! Also, the continuous map of North America is great! I routed a trip from West Palm Beach, FL to Phoenix AZ, and it displayed the route as well as drive time (39 hours
