I took the plunge and did my new Liliput EBY701 - Two sheets of BEFII with the second rotated 90 degrees, then a sheet of DBEF 0 Degree on the top of them.
Now I hadn't used this screen much anyway since its pretty new, but it doesn't seem any brighter to me. The viewing angle does appear to be greatly increased though.
I'm yet to test it out in sunlight as I'm in the process of finishing off my new install so it will be interesting to see how readable it really is.

Just as a note, this screen didn't appear to be 'pre-fitted' with any type of film when I took it apart.

Edit - I've just noticed in nst6563's post that I was supposed to remove the 'diffuser film' - I didn't take any film out as there didn't appear to be anything 'loose' between the lcd and the backlight (although I didn't strip the backlight fully) is there any point in me going back in to search for the diffuser or will it not make much difference ?
