Remember the leads are colour coded and as long as you get it the right way round the USB may work. Another thing is making sure it is wired permamently live, and also are you sure your jump drives are FAT32? If it is not compatible it will never work. I've had no end of fun learning my setup, first problems were the format didn't take properly, installers wired it not directly so it wasn't hot always and would lose its position. Y USB lead died and I found out anything longer than an 18" USB would not power my external drive without secondary power, and finally got the new lead in this week from the manufacturer and will install it probably tomorrow lunchtime. Jump drives are handy too but you can't beat 500 cds on one drive!
