2 or 3 uses ? you must be JOKING?!

You should only use a VERY small amount of Heatsink compound!

It has to be such a thin layer it's almost see-thru, it's so wrong to GLOB it all in, and tell other to do it.

A single tube of AS Compound lasts about 50 CPU's or more.

Apply a small drop and level it out with a credit card or the like, and you're set.

NOTHING transfers heat as direct contact does, AS compound is a bad conductor of heat, but better that air (air isolates)
