Technically it is a bit different than what's in the pic in the first post. The border isn't as heavy, the angle of the gradient is 90 instead of 85 (85 looks better on small buttons IMHO, but not at the size the CFE uses), and the start color for the gradient is a bit darker.

Nope. The "vol" and "mute" buttons are messed up too. It's because the strings are larger than the area that i'm drawing into. I haven't figured out how NSButton does it better yet.
If only there were graphics people running around that could generate images so we don't have to use text on the buttons any more...
