The new video card is an ATI 9000, but Windows wants to install it as a mobility 9000. I wonder if the mobility drivers I have are causing some issues. Maybe I need to flash the video card with the non-mobility bios and then load the correct drivers.

As for the SP13K being capable of 15fps with the on-board video... I run the -info switch and the displayed frame rate is 3.6.

Could this frame rate be low because of the CPU being at 100%?

I am running a full version of XP not the lite version. Will this contibute to the problem?

Any other things/tweaks that I should look at?
