If anybody is still looking to run Vista then SP1 RC is now publicly available. Get it either from windows update http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en which is slow and a pain or download the full version from http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows...vista-sp1.html . This is still a release candidate so be warned but I have been using it for a couple of months now and found a big improvement in the way Vista behaves. But like I said downloader beware and don't blame me if it screws your system.
