I'm using ALK CoPilot Laptop 10 with a 5Hz BT GPS without any problems. I agree that for navigation, 1Hz is sufficent. I use my 5Hz as part of my datalogging setup during autox and track events where 1 second updates is too slow.

I've recently upgraded to a 10Hz receiver and CoPilot has been working fine with that too.
