Yeah i read it... well skimmed it and it seemed to complicated so all i did was...

use a program called hibernate trigger to close the touchkit program on hibernate via batch file... then reopen it (via batch file) minimised so it reloads the touch panel info....

i also moved the usb cable for the screen from its own port to the usb hub i am running.... and so far it hasn't dropped out. so for now all is good
