ignition wire for opus psu

Ok, here is my issue.

I have a key code for the wire harness im using with my radio (sony). The wire harness says that the yellow wire is a 12V Battery/Constant 12V+ and the Red wire is 12V Ignition/switched 12V+

Dosent it seem weird that the red wire is the ignition wire??
I would have thought it would be the other way around. I've been pondering on this for a day or two and im afraid to actually hook the Opus PSU up not knowing exactly 100% that i have the right wire.

My question is this, if i leave it the way it is now, with the yellow opus wire connected to the yellow 12V Battery wire, will it damage the PSU or cause it to not function correctly. Dose the ignition wire in a car normally have constant power or does it just send a signal when the car is first turned on and another when its off. If i leave it on the yellow battery wire will the PSU go into a startup/shutdown loop?

If i can get this issue cleared up, or confirmed that neither wire will destroy the PSU and i can basicly do a trial and error i can proceed and install my carputer tonight

Thanks in advanced.
