you need to be specific on what boot means. before windows at the BIOS post screen or during windows is about to load? If at the post screen disable boot from other device, if present. ensure the HDD is the first bootable device in the boot sequence. remove the dvd drive in the boot sequence. If all comes to worst put the computer in s3 standby rather than completely turning off. It will use a little power though while turned off but will last over 2 weeks in a standby state on battery with the car not starting during that time.
This way the computer will resume instantly and resume to the last online state skipping any startup, post screens or the booting of windows..
