I tripped over a page that may help folks...

After my Kensington 33348 turns up to be CRAP (the drivers are just sucky WIDCOMM bloatware) I just bought one of these... less than $8 shipped:

This thread caused me to wonder if this is CSR based, and in wandering the world, I tripped into this site:

Found my adapter (look for something that looks like yours, much of what you buy retail is just OEM re-branded) and the answer popped positive:

One additional thing that I think is useful to point out... As you shop for a Bluetooth dongle, be sure it's native USB 2.0. There's no reason to run a USB 1.1 dongle these days.
