not ideal, but it will do till i find something better
solution:
computer with a generic usb GPS receiver
run this program "
GPSGate" it emulates and gps to pretty much any other format. ($40US)
get the program nRoute from garmin (unpack the garmin stuff like you would a zip file with winrar, then run the main.msi, that gets around the device detection)
