PC still out at the vendor. In the interim, found a few posts with people having the same problem with not getting any video on start out of the jetway j9f2.

The vendor says he sells about 3000 of these a year, I cant be the only one having this problem :-)

Dont really see a solution in the threads I have found. Some success has been stated with different combinations of the following:

Updating the MB Bios

Setting the bios to LCD+CRT

Hacking the screen def file and manualy entering values that make it work

They all make sense to me, but no definitive answer in any of the posts about what will work. Would hate to have to run down each of those paths (wrought with opportunities to break a multitude of stuff that isnt broken now) to an unfruitful conclusion.

This is basicaly a bump for the post to see if by chance anyone who knows the real cause for this problem and has found the solution that works every time may be kind enough to start me down the right path.
