Single DIN with drive bay?
Greetings, Just starting out on this undertaking.
I'm looking at in dash (Single DIN) LCD's such as the Xenarc 700IDT.
It appears that there's enough space to mount a slim style laptop optical drive under it... Unless it's full of other electronics.
Does anyone produce a Single DIN pull out (Motorized or not... I'm not all that lazy.) type LCD with a drive bay under the LCD?
I'd assume it'd have to be USB. I can't see IDE cables reaching from anywhere in the car to behind the dash... And I don't forsee putting the Motherboard in the dash. Simply no space... But if IDE is available, I'd be happy with that.
