You can't.
The setting is in the video driver of the computer. The monitor only displays what it is given by the driver. If it's a resolution the monitor can't interpret, it shows "out of range".
You need to hook up the computer to another monitor and change the driver settings, not the screen. There is an offhand chance you can get into the menu of the screen and reset to 800x600 if you can get the screen to disply anything besides "out of range" by using different setting in the video driver. You have to find one that the monitor can recognize first so it doesn't display "out of range" and prevent you from entering the OSD. 640x480 should work so you can get into monitor's settings menu.
The eby701 has a nasty habit of burning out it's 800x600 setting for some reason when you hit auto adjust, 800x600 may be gone forever.......
Also, please stop asking the same question in multiple threads........
