My girlfriend recently gave me a beater laptop/ nx5000 and ive always wanted a car computer in my wrx, so ive started the build.
Ive figured since im on a budget, im going to use my alpine 4 channel and a external 5.1 sound card (recommendation?) then purchase this lilliput 619 kit

I plan on wiring the adaptor to the cigarrette lighter and running a relay to the ignition wire, so it wont drain my car battery. Then wiring a switch from the laptops switch to somewhere hidden (batman style)...
Any helpful suggestions or diagrams would be awesome.. (im not so electronic savy, watts/amps/diodes... but if u give me a diagram, i can do it
