i used to use road runner and though RR can be made to look the same, its no where near as good as CF.

i went from frodoplayer to RR to CF,

FP was very good at the time, it was fast and very reliable for what i wanted it to do, but i think its development has stopped? so it was hard to continue to use it when other front ends started to overtake it.

i moved into RR when i upgraded my car pc to a core duo, it was aesthetically very nice (was using the Freedom Skin) but i found it was flawed in many areas and took way too much work to configure and fiddling around is always annoying when your in the middle of driving. configuration menu could do with alot of a work in relation to simplying user interface.

CF is worth the money i paid, its not a matter of it looking better (tho it does and yes you can skin RR) it loads up very fast, don't have issues with resuming from hibernation using this program. setup menu is very simple and easy to follow (you don't have to sit there for a few hours trying to figure everything out)

basically i find, at this very moment, CF to fufill all my needs for my CarPC it works (nearly) flawlessly, there a few bugs but i know they are being looking into so i'm not stressing too much about them.
