Not sure why my posts aren't coming up in this thread? Maybe this time? If it works ill edit with my initial reply!

**woohoo**
Seems I can post now, maybe I missed something in the signup speel about having to post your own thread int he newbie section.

Either way... I too am trying to connect my carpc to my standard vehicle stereo comprising of a cd/mp3 player running 4 speakers and a 2 channel amp running a sub. So far i've tried using 2 different fm transmitters, coming to the conclusion that they are shocking and should be burned!

I found this device in another thread, I could have sworn that they were saying it would do exactly what I want but now after reading more i'm not so sure. http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...or&i=607FMDA25

And then there is this one: http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...r&i=142FMMOD01

If that will indeed allow my pioneer cd player to tune into it's fm frequency that would sort out alot of problems for both myself and the thread starter! Can anyone comment as to whether either of these devices will do the job intended? Im leaning more towards the second one since it has an external power supply. Would I be correct in saying it will be able to over power other radio signals? It appears to use 87.9 and 88.3, there is a station on 88.3 here which is a pain!

Cheers
Brad
