The problem is that the BIOS is not detecting a regular old sata 3.5" drive, and so neither does windows, i tried a regular IDE drive, which works fine, right now i have a 2,5" disk connected on IDE cable, and i installed windows with no problem, hopefully my 2,5" sata will work better than the Maxtor sata 3,5" drive i tested with. I was just wondering if sata somehow had to be enabled somewhere in the BIOS...i saw one menu with something like SATA Mode : IDE...and no other options, which got me wondering ?
