Definately sink the screen back some. I look at mine every day thinking HOW can I get mine back further. I have no room to do it since everything is behind the screen. I have thought about bringing the bezel out around the screen to get the needed shade.
I have my system down to 35 seconds, yes 12 would be nicer but my bios takes 14, so 35 isnt bad.
Chicago this weekend? I wonder if I can convince my wife to go for a drive. Not likely but I can dream.

took me a long time to get to 12. Right now I'm working on an automated setup that includes all the tweaks I've made to get 12 seconds plus an auto-install of Winamp, Road Runner, Flash, directx, ffdshow codec, and registry tweaks. I can even have it go as far as installing EWF + HORM support automatically during setup. Right now I've just about got it done with Server2003 SP2. Will remove the Server specific tweaks and can then migrate the same setup files to XP. I'll have it at the next meet (as long as I can make it...June's looking tight for scheduling) for both XP and Server2003 flavors.
