You must disable EWF to run bootvis. I doubt bootvis will harm your system but its always a good idea to make an image of your system using a backup software like paragon drive backup. In case of any hicups you can recover your system on under 1/2 hour.


Keep in mind like SFiorito said bootvis may not run in MicroXP....

After installing bootvis click on 'Trace"> "Next Boot + Driver Delays" you will be prompted to reboot.

After reboot bootvis will autorun (may take several minutes) and display some statistics, click on "Trace" > "Optimize System" you will be prompted for a reboot.

Once windows reboots, you will see a message optimizing system, this may take quite some time especially if this the first time you've run it.
