Hint on power for the screen. There are a few models of hp omnibook (600) that use 12 volt, not 19. You can get for cheap on ebay a car adapter that takes 9-24 volts in, and spits out 12volt. (and it's a real switching supply, not a cheap-o)

Yea I like the touchpad better. The touchscreen was a little far away and the touchpad works great.
I wound up using the M4-Atx for 12v regulated power. I just didn't think about it at first. I mean it had a car cigarette lighter adapter so I assumed it would work with a cars power .
