tricky one,
i've got an 05 corolla which has a similar set up. I had to connect ground to one wire and the +3.3v to the other 1 wire (its only a 3 wire system) and the sense to the final wire. Each time you press a switch you are going to get a different resistance coming down across the two ends. Just check to see if you have a ground there anywhere to start off with. If you haven't it doesn't matter which way you connect it up.
