ok guys sorry for all of the confusion. there does seem to be a major bug that we are running into here. neondev is right there has been very little testing on windows. i just ran a test trying to simulate what you were trying by putting music on an external drive, and got the same results.

what i think is happening is that my app outputs an xml file containing all of your music in an artist/album/song format (this is based solely on how you have your directories set up. the app is looking for an artist/album/song format. if you are using itunes to manage your directory then it should set it up that way for you). you can look at this file in your documents folder. it will be named "TuneLibraryXML.xml".
check and make sure that everything is correct inside of the file (ie artist have correct albums listed inside, and albums have correct songs inside of them.) also check to make sure that the song paths are showing up correct within the song nodes.

What i think the problem actually is, is that the app cant find the xml file once it creates it (dumb i know but as far as i can tell that is what is happening). i will make some adjustments tonight as soon as i get home that should fix the issue, as well as add some more intuitive error handling to make this process much easier.

once again i am really sorry. i guess i should have done a little more testing before i put out a release. please let me know if anybody else is having problems, until then i will get to work on resolving these.
