Im thinking about running a second display also. Not for rear passengers (its a vette) but just to have some sort of tablet like display, but bigger, like 12 to 15 inches that I could reach back and grab when I want to look at more than a few square blocks on the nav.

May be easier for me (if I could just decide on the screen hardware) because I dont need to run two displays (dont need seperate desktops, so it can just mirror whatever is on the little screen), cant see an inexpensive way of doing it though.

edit : actually now that I think of it, it may be the same as running two seperate desktops ? The little one is set to 800 x 600 in windows, that would probably be ok on the larger display but the level of detail shown in the nav (Ig4 btw) is probably tied to the screen resolution, so how would it know to show any more info on the second screen if it was just split off ?

Oh well, still gonna try and make this work if I can find a decent larger display, hopefully ts.
