Never power anything off the ACC line. It is only made to send signals to turn a device on. Here is how you do. Go to your local autoparts store and buy a relay. Then follow these:

Using a Relay to Turn On you screen:

Step1. Connect the ACC lead pole 85.
Step2. Apply ground to pole 86 (ground from radio wiring ground).
Step3. Put positive voltage from the battery (positive from radio wiring positive) to pole 87.
Step4. Attach screen positive to pole 30 .
Step5. Attach ground of screen to ground (ground from radio wiring ground).
