True it should not be a problem but it is sort of an electrical no-no to cascade things off of what is supposed to be a trigger line only. It leads to bad habits and people thinking they can power anything off of it, and it is better to power it off of an IGN tripped relay.

But again, powering it directly from the ign line should be ok.
