I am extending some wires this evening on my vehicle body harness, then the dash, steering & wiring will be back in.
Guess tonight I am going to sit down and do some hardcore measuring and designing for the mounting for the pc. Right now, I am thinking in the dash where the airbag was, with a pullout tray, but first I need to determine if it will fit. If for some reason I cannot mount it there, I have one other choice, custom center console housing my pc... that'll at least give me some heller room... maybe something see through?
Anyone who wants to swing by one of these evenings and help me decide on mounting location, feel free to drop me a PM or give me a call... I have a few items still on my todo list before I can actually start on the mounting for this pc
Airbags are your friend! With the super ghetto finally install I had in my old passat (ask gizmo about it, he might even have pictures) it created a new game, not-shotgun. Any sort of front end collision would have resulted in the passengers face getting intimate with a 15" lcd
