Of course any front end is skinable. But the current software shown on their website is nothing even similar to CF or SD. So to say it is definitely CF (because they said they worked with azentek) is not confirmation in my book. Might be, but I seriously doubt it. What it does say is at some point, Azentek used CF, and the video from 8 months ago confirms that to be true. Sure if you said the same thing here (when the boys were still hanging around), they would also say "We work with Azentek").

I think they did what I would do.....

Design a computer to do everything you want it to do, make it into a unique package, use whatever software is out there for proof of concept (also to confirm you didn't forget anything), but "hide" the actual software for the "Wow" factor later. Why would you design a superior product, price it above the market, and then make it "look" like every other car computer out there by using a common front end.
