It's definitely worth the price.
I doubt it on the dongle. The one that comes with the keyboard is more like a "virtual cable" between the keyboard and the computer, independant of software. It doesn't pair the same. You push a red button on the keyboard and the dongle and they pair automatically. I haven't checked to see if the dongle even shows up in bluetooth hardware.
