Alternatively you could link it into a light sensor or you could link it into the headlights so when they come on it would send a signal through a relay that would trigger the night or day mode. What about altitude? What if you are on the top of a large hill. Wouldn't you get light for a little longer than say somebody that was at the bottom of the hill? What if you are in a large canyon. You need to switch to night more earlier than if you were on top of the hill earlier.

Alternatively you could just tap the screen to change the time that it would switch to day or night and skip all of the extra "wouldn't it be neat if you could have it link to xyz to change the gamma automatically".

Isn't all of the extra time zone and auto dim funtionality going a little overboard? Not to thread jack, but this is why digimods never get 100% done. People keep asking for new features that while cool...don't particularly add a whole lot to to the basic digimod.

Instead of adding features until the cows come home...get the mods operational, post it, then move onto a new digimod instead of taking umpteen hours working on adding features that overall won't add any particular value to the digimod other than a coolness factor...

Don't get me wrong...I think this is a rockin digimod...i just think that it doesn't need all of the bells and whistles people are asking for.
